North Beach Resort

November 3, 2017

We just spent the past 4 nights at North Beach Resort located in St Augustine, FL (10-2017). This was our first visit there and we enjoyed our stay very much. This resort and surrounding area has so much to offer. Please see below to see our take on the resort and our stay in general.

First impression

-Love the location, literally across the street from the beach and the back of the campground rest on the intercoastal waterway

-Dirt roads throughout the campground, rainy season may be a nightmare to deal with

-Friendly folks at the front desk

-Our site was extremely level, this was our first drive through lot and I really enjoyed it (I am horrible at backing up the camper).

Settled In

-Nice size heated pool with a good size jacuzzi

-General store has a good selection of things you may have left behind

-Campground has some lots that seem to have year round tenants, some of those lots are in need of some upkeep

-Nice pier for fishing, and cleared coastline on the inter coastal waterway side

-There is a restaurant across the street from the campground as well as a restaurant at the back of the campground

Lasting Impressions

-The restrooms, pool, park, and laundry facility were well taken care of. Overall the campground was well maintained

-Playground area was a big hit with our kiddos

-Location, Location, Location. Literally across the road from the beach, and 7 miles from the Old Historic District in St Augustine

-Some amazing opportunities to see stunning sunrises and sunsets from the pier and coastline on the property

If you plan to visit the Historic District we suggest using the parking garage, it is $15 for the day. Also, if you have littles there is a great playground just to the west of the garage. We spent several hours there during our stay. Also, we recommend taking advantage of the plethora of coupon books and bundling things to do. You can save quite a bit of money that way. One last thing we suggest is renting bikes and exploring the city that way in addition to walking if you are able.

Here is link to some local attractions in the Historic area.
